Been born and brought up in Tamil Nadu, i have been pampered with this healthy and nutritious gluten free savoury cakes almost everyday in our menu. Obviously i do prepare idlis often at home though the climate in Paris doesnt help much for the fermentation. However it never stopped us to prepare this gluten free cakes at home. Am running this week's blogging marathon with a super interesting theme, yes the theme for this week is pick a breakfast and make in three different ways. Microwaving idli batter calls for a simple method, just grease a microwave safe ramekins or bowl, spoon a small ladle of Idli batter and cook in microwave oven for 2minutes, your idli is ready to enjoy with your favourite side dish or chutney. A prefect dish for bachelors as they dont like to spend much time in kitchen. Depending upon the size of your bowl, just one or two microwave idly is quite enough to finish happily your meal. However the cooking time may varies depending upon on your microwave oven's power.
