I love spice powders with rice too and can eat it without requiring a curry. As of now, i have been borrowing spice powders made by my mother-in-law. Your microwave methods seem easy to try. Liked the garlic chili pickle too. Could you tell me how to use flaxseeds in spice powder? Recently bought flaxseeds for the first time to try them and i have no idea what to do with them. And thank you for visiting my blog.
can get the flavor of curry leaves rt here....
Thats an interesting powder, I have heard about one with curry leaves. But not one with coriander and mint leaves. Looks good and healthy

Hi Priya...I hope this won't be too stupid of a question, but do you find the roasted chana dhal in the Indian stores, or do you roast your own? I'm trying to learn more about Indian cooking (as I adore it) so I am still quite 'green' about some of these things. I love the idea of having a ready-made spice mix, so I would love to make this and have it on hand. Thank you in advance, and for posting a great recipe too!
nice recipe, surely different from the regular spice combinations
That's a very flavorful spice powder...must try it out
