Sago/Sabudana Laddoos

Its has been ages i prepared laddoos with sago/sabudana or javvarisi..I love this quick and delicious laddoos anytime..I picked a packet of small variety of sagos from chinese store which suits super prefect for making this cute looking and very addictive laddoos..Unfortunately my mixie stopped working and have to throw it immediately, yeah its in my kitchen since 5 years its time to give rest to that oldy goldy preethi mixie..Finally decided to get a mixie from the nearby French provisional store which is quite handy but not prefect for grinding our stuffs, even after grinding for hours i didnt get smooth texture of those roasted sagos for making this laddoos, it turned as bit coarse powder and i loved that texture in this laddoos..I couldnt stop enjoying this fabulous laddoos, also these laddoos stays prefect in room temperature for a week...

Sago Laddoos

1cup Sago
1cup Sugar
3nos Cardamoms
Few cashew nuts
2tbsp Ghee
Milk (as per need)

Roast the sago for few minutes along with cardamoms in a warm pan...Grind the roasted sago, cardamoms, sugar as a fine or bit coarse powder, meanwhile heat the ghee and roast the cashew nuts until its turns golden brown, add the grounded sago-sugar powder to the hot ghee and nuts, springle the milk as per need and make medium sized balls from this mixture..Store it in a air tightened box..

Enjoy!

Even some brands of our heavy duty mixies do not powder the grains finely. So I think this is perfect texture, small yet coarse in the ladoos. Nice one Priya!
