Pumpkin Paratha

Pumpkins are really low in calorie and its a prefect vegetable for persons who watch their weight also they are rich in potassium and the bright orange flesh of pumpkin is loaded with beta carotene and this vitamin is an important anti oxidant that helps us fight free radicals, its rich in fiber which may prevent cancer, heart disease and other serious aliments...With those loads of health benefits who will say no to pumpkins, here is my version of paratha with pumpkin puree, cumin seeds, garam masala  a prefect dinner with any sort of curries or spicy non vegetarian gravies...A prefect low caloric parathas to enjoy without any guilt , quiet a filling parathas tastes fantastic even without any side dishes coz of the cumin seeds and garam masala powder i used for making out this parathas...Sending this pumpkin paratha to JFI-Breakfast guest hosted by Suma, event by Indira..

1cup Pumpkin (pressure cooked and pureed)
2cups Wheat flour
2tbsp All purpose flour for dusting
1/2tsp Cumin seeds
1/2tsp Garam masala
Salt
1tsp Ghee

Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl and add gradually water if needed , knead everything as soft and stiff dough..keep aside for an hour...make 10-12medium sized balls, dust each balls with all purpose flour and roll them as round disc with rolling pin...heat a non stick pan and drop gently the rolled parathas, drizzle few drops of oil cook on both sides until they get cooked..

Serve hot with any side dish!!!
