Tapioca Sweet Balls

Tapioca or Cassava is a woody shrub of the Euphorbiaceae native to South America that is extensively cultivated as an annual crop in tropical and subtropical regions for its edible starchy tuberous root, a major source of carbohydrates. The flour made of the roots is called tapioca fllour, sago pearls are prepared from this tapioca flour..coming to this sweet balls recipe, this is one of my most favourite sweet dish i learned from my mom..she used to prepare this sweet balls for our snacks when i was kid..i tried to make once a month these sweet balls, also its very easy to prepare..its a real pleasure to prepare n have these delicious snow balls like tapioca sweet balls...

2nos Tapioca
1/4cup Sugar
1tsp Cardamom powder
1/4cup Grated Fresh coconut
2tbsp Dessicated coconut.

Remove the skin of the tapioca until the white layer appears.. cook them well with salt (as per taste) r a pinch of salt in a pressure cooker, smash them nicely with ur finger or grate them..Add sugar, grated coconut and the cardamom powder.

Take a small quantity of smashed tapioca and make them as small balls, roll these balls over the dessicated coconut evenly n serve them..
