Hi,
I just wanted to know that most recipes ask you to fry the coconut but u have not. iam jsut curious i want to make this for diwali and so far your's is the easiest recipe.
@ Reddy, since the coconut used in this recipe goes for dessicated coconut, there is no need to fry them, also dessicated coconut tends to burn if u roast them..hope this helps..
THANKS...THIS RECIPE IS FAST N EASY...WILL TRY FOR DIWALI
hi which food coloring do you use for this recipe
I used orange food colour, you can even skip it and make pure white laddoos.
Hi Priya,
Thanks for posting this lovely coconut laddoo recipe.
I tried it yesterday and it came out real yummy!
Some points:
The laddoos came out nice and round, but were soft to the touch and eat - is that ok?
Or should they be hard like Besan laddoo or Rava laddoo?
- I used Amul Mithai mate (I think this is less condensed than Nestlé) with half the tin and other ingredients proportionately.
Do you think that made a difference to the "softness"?
thanks,
Hasita
Thanks for trying Hasita, these laddoos wont get hard like besan or rava laddoos,,they will always a soft inner even after many days, but they wont be soft while touching, this is may be coz of the condensed milk you used for, may be this make the difference.Hope i cleared your doubt.
Thanks Priya,
I think so too. I will try it again.
Btw, did I mention all the laddoos I made got over quite too soon :)
best,
Hasita
